The Rajasthan government has announced a ₹12,000 crore allocation for the construction of Jaipur Metro Line-2, which will extend from Sitapura to Ambabari and further to Vidhyadhar Nagar. This marks the first major investment in Jaipur s metro system in 15 years, since the establishment of the Jaipur Metro Railway Corporation (JMRC). Jaipur Metro Expansion & New Metro Corporation The Jaipur Metro project will now be executed by the newly formed Rajasthan Metro Railway Corporation (RMRC), a joint initiative between the State and Central governments. Additionally, State Finance Minister (FM) Divya Kumari has announced the withdrawal of the Bus Rapid Transport System (BRTS) project in Jaipur, shifting the focus towards metro expansion and other key infrastructure projects. Development of Swarn Jayanti Park in Vidhyadhar Nagar as an Oxygen Zone. Construction of three new residential projects in Pratap Nagar, Indira Gandhi Nagar, and Mansarovar. ₹25 crore upgrade for Albert Hall Museum.
