- PropertyGeld collects the rent and transfers it to the landlord account you entered. You are notified once the transfer is made, with the bank reference, and your receipt is issued after the gateway confirms the payment.

How does the rent transfer work?
Your rent is paid to PropertyGeld through Razorpay. Once the gateway confirms the payment, the PropertyGeld team transfers the amount to the landlord account you entered and you are notified with the bank reference. Your receipt is issued only after the gateway confirms the payment.
Do I need an account to pay rent?
Yes. Rent payments and receipts are tied to your PropertyGeld account, so you sign in first.
Is the name I type on the agreement draft a legal signature?
No. Typing a name simply places it on the draft so you can see how the finished document reads. Executing the agreement — on stamp paper, before the proper authority — is a separate step you carry out yourself.
Who pays for the stamp paper?
You do, directly to the relevant government authority. Stamp duty and registration fees are set by your state and are not collected here — buy the prescribed stamp paper through your state’s authorised vendors or the SHCIL e-stamp portal.
Can I customise the agreement clauses?
Yes. In the draft wizard you can toggle clauses such as pet guidelines, rent increments or notice periods. Have your lawyer confirm the wording suits your situation.
