New Noida Expressway Planned to Boost Connectivity Ahead of Jewar Airport Launch

Authorities are working on a proposal to construct a new expressway in Noida to strengthen road connectivity and manage the expected rise in traffic once the upcoming international airport in Jewar becomes operational. The planned expressway will run along the Yamuna river and is expected to stretch for approximately 32 kilometers. This corridor is being designed as an alternative route to the existing Noida Greater Noida Expressway, which already faces heavy congestion during peak hours. With airport operations expected to significantly increase traffic flow, the new route aims to reduce pressure on current infrastructure. The expressway is proposed to begin near Sector 94, close to the Delhi border at Kalindi Kunj, and extend towards Sector 150 in Greater Noida. It will also connect seamlessly with the Yamuna Expressway, providing direct access to the upcoming airport and nearby regions. Officials believe that the new road will not only improve travel time between Delhi, Noida, and Greater Noida but will also enhance connectivity to key sectors along the Yamuna belt. The project is expected to support smoother movement for daily commuters as well as airport-bound traffic. The initiative is part of broader infrastructure planning in the region, considering the rapid development around the airport zone. Improved road networks are likely to play a crucial role in supporting economic growth, real estate expansion, and industrial activity in the surrounding areas. Once completed, the new expressway is expected to serve as a major transportation link, easing congestion and offering a faster, more efficient route for travelers heading towards the Noida International Airport.
