The Palwal Ballabhgarh Metro is a proposed rapid transit corridor aimed at improving connectivity between Faridabad s Ballabhgarh and Palwal district in Haryana . Route Alignment and Project Details The proposed metro corridor will connect several industrial and residential pockets including Sector 58 59 , Sikri , Softa , Prithla , Baghola , Alhapur , and Palwal . Final alignment will be decided in consultation with NHAI and other stakeholders. The metro line will originate from Raja Nahar Singh Metro Station , which currently serves as the terminal station of the Delhi Metro Violet Line . This line provides direct connectivity to central Delhi, beginning from Kashmere Gate . Palwal, located around 60 km from Delhi , already benefits from road connectivity through the Eastern Peripheral Expressway (KGP) and Western Peripheral Expressway (KMP) , making it a strategic extension for metro connectivity. Estimated Project Cost The Palwal Ballabhgarh Metro is expected to be developed primarily as an elevated corridor , with an average construction cost of ₹180 crore per kilometre . The total project cost is estimated at ₹4,320 crore . Funding for the project will be led by the Haryana government, with possibilities of public private partnership (PPP) models for additional financial support.
